Role Overview
As a Home Manager, you’ll be responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day operations within our supported living service, including managing staff teams and ensuring that the quality of the services provided meets or exceeds our required standards. You will also be responsible for integrating our services within the local community.
Location: West London
Salary: £28,000 p.a.
Hours: Full/Part Time
Job Description
- Delivering a person-centred approach to support planning and delivery
- Supervising staff and conducting regular performance reviews
- Ensuring conformance to relevant standards and compliance with legislation e.g. health and safety compliance
- Building and maintaining partnerships with other local community organisations
- Providing information, advice and support to residents’ families
- Assessing the practical and emotional needs of our service users and contributing effectively to their support plans
- Providing emotional support by talking to service users and listening to their problems and concerns
- Accompanying service users in meetings with other agencies and healthcare professionals
- Working with service users’ families to help them to support service users in the most effective way possible
- Liaising with other support workers, social workers and relevant members of the health and social care profession
- Dealing effectively and politely with members of the public, local authorities, external contacts, service users and staff.
Requirements
- Experience working with young people
- Strong leadership skills
- Good communication and social skills
- Excellent time management
- Emotional maturity and resilience
Optional Skills (Not Required)

- Full UK Drivers License
- Management Experience
- Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare or Equivalent
Safeguarding
